Pay Range: $65,000 to $75,000 salary 


SUMMARY

Directs and coordinates activities of all residential program services. Supervises all residential associate directors, while maintaining relationships with host home providers, guardians, family caregivers, and other stakeholders. Ensures that all functions of the department are operating efficiently and effectively and per regulations, company policy, and best practices. Functions as a member of the Leadership and Management Teams.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned

· Directs and coordinates activities of all Residential Services

· The Residential Director supervises the operations team, reports to the Sr. Director of Residential Services, and works cooperatively with other key administrative staff

· Oversees the quality of programmatic coordination and compliance

· Oversee all aspects of ensuring person-centered supports for all adults enrolled in the services and that they experience a high quality of life based on their abilities and wants

· Monitor programmatic success through KPIs

· Focus on customer relations to retain customers and grow customer base

· Seeks the opportunity to implement innovation in service delivery

· Supports and implements processes that seek to improve service delivery and maximize efficiencies

· Facilitate Operations Team meetings regularly

· Reviews analyses of activities, costs, operations, and forecast data to determine department of progress toward stated goals and objectives. Also monitors billing activities for residential services.

· Develop and monitor the department’s budget

· Arranges for recruitment, assignment, and training of appropriate personnel

· Establishes standards for accountability and consistency of all departmental functions and staff

· Oversee the Support, Inc. application of Quality Assurance program, monitoring the identification, assessment, and correction of important aspects of individuals and programs designed to enhance the quality of services consistent with achievable goals and within available resources

· Attends the Management Team meetings regularly.

· Reviews analyses of activities, costs, operations, and forecast data to determine department of progress toward stated goals and objectives. Also maintains billing spreadsheets/data for all services in the region.

· Ensures the timely collection of billing and payroll documents for transmittal to the Accounting Department.

· Establishes standards for accountability and consistency of all departmental functions and staff.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

Manages Program Associate Directors who supervise Residential Program Coordinators and Host Home Providers. Carries out supervisory responsibilities per the organization’s policies and applicable laws.

Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. Must have high integrity, act as a role model for direct reports, and have strong management/leadership skills.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Master’s degree (M.A.) or equivalent; or four to ten years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
